Εδώ και λίγες ώρες η Μεγάλη Βρετανία έχει βυθιστεί σε βαρύ πένθος. Στα 96 της χρόνια η βασίλισσα Ελισάβετ άφησε την τελευταία της πνοή μετά από περιπέτεια με την υγεία της.
Το Πλατινένιο Ιωβηλαίο εορτάσθηκε μόλις τον περασμένο Ιούνιο, με τα στελέχη του τμήματος Jaguar Classic να προχωρούν στην αναπαλαίωση μια E-Type Roadster του 1965, για να γιορτάσουν με αυτό τον τρόπο τα 70 έτη της βασίλισσας στον θρόνο.
Μέσα από αυτή τη μακρά πορεία, συνεργάστηκε με 15 διαφορετικούς πρωθυπουργούς και συναντήθηκε με 13 από τους 14 Προέδρους των ΗΠΑ. Η είδηση του θανάτου της "ταξίδεψε" άμεσα σε όλο τον πλανήτη, με κορυφαίες προσωπικότητες να εκφράζουν τα συλλυπητήρια τους.
Το ίδιο έπραξαν και πολλές αυτοκινητοβιομηχανίες οι οποίες χρησιμοποιώντας τους επίσημους λογαριασμούς τους στα social media απέδωσαν το ύστατο χαίρε στη μακροβιότερη βασίλισσα στην ιστορία του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου.
